Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina Shares NEW Relaxed Protocols for Vaccinated Travelers

WHAT: Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina is pleased to share the recent announcement regarding the new, relaxed protocols for vaccinated travelers to the British Virgin Islands. Effective May 15, vaccinated travelers will no longer be required to submit to a COVID-19 PCR test on Day 4 of their visit. An arrival PCR test will still be administered upon arrival; however, once the negative results are confirmed – usually within 24-48 hours – guests will enjoy unlimited access to both the resort and territory.
“This is a significant change for our vaccinated travelers,” stated resort General Manager Michael Schoonewagen. “Our vaccinated guests will be able to book excursions to visit The Baths, iconic diving spots and all the neighboring islands without the worry of having to receive a second test.”
Visitors are still required to show proof of a negative PCR test five days prior to arrival.
