ABOUT: In the late 1930s, Marina Cay was home to newlyweds Robb and Rodie White. His 1953 best-selling book, Our Virgin Island, chronicled their life on Marina Cay, and later became a film starring Sidney Poitier and John Cassavetes. In 1956, the island was purchased by Eugene “Gene” Tonkonogy, and a simple, yet iconic resort operated over the years. In the early 1990s, Charles Tobias opened Pusser’s Restaurant and Outpost on Marina Day, but, 2017, Hurricane Irma devastated the island and the restaurant was forced to close. Now operated by neighboring Scrub Island Resort, Marina Cay once again welcomes visitors to enjoy the island’s charm with a bar & grill serving lunch and dinner, and a watersports operation by Up ‘n’ Under for the more adventurous. Boaters exploring the British Virgin Islands can safely stay overnight using available mooring balls just off Marina Cay.

*Price does not include tax or 20% service charge.
